The man on the phone was quite hard to make out. He wanted me to verify my name, but when I declined, he got a bit shaky. He asked once more, and I told him no, he was the one ringing me so he ought to know who I am. I asked him for the company’s name, but couldn’t catch it properly. Instead, he gave me a pretty vague spiel about assisting with some sort of claim, never directly saying PPI though. I politely declined and asked that my details be deleted from their system straight away. Although he said he would, I ended up blocking the number just to be safe.
