Received a call at 10:51 this morning but unfortunately couldn’t answer it, so I dialled 1471 to retrieve the number. It connected me to an automated message featuring a woman with an Australian accent who said, “You’ve reached Lead Hub PH Ltd. To speak with a live agent, please press…” and so forth. According to their online presence, the Lead Hub claims to be a database for prospects and leads, promoting support for your top 50 contenders. However, my landline is registered with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS), indicating I have no affiliation with this company; hence, their call is not just unsolicited, but quite unlawful. Though the listing indicates 0203 603 4473 as a London number, the fact that it disregards my TPS registration suggests it’s probably a spoofed call from overseas or, if it is based in the UK, it's most likely dodgy marketing or possibly even a scam. I chose not to press any buttons to be connected.
