Total ripoff, probably some call centre. I picked up and said hello a few times, then all I could hear was loads of noise like an office and some guy shouting something like “is this being recorded or are you thick?” Tried ringing back but the line wouldn’t go through. Blocked straight away!!

This number has called me twice this week saying they're looking for a Mike Smith. I told them they’ve got the wrong number, but they kept asking if I knew Mike Smith. I asked them to take my number off their list, yet they wouldn’t stop trying to talk to me. Eventually, I just hung up. Feels like a bit of a scam to me.

This lot keeps switching up both their phone numbers and the names they use. Just today they rang me claiming to be from some Financial Institution. They bother me with calls about two or three times every week. When I said I was going to report them to the ICO, they just told me they’ll ring whenever they like. Clearly, they couldn’t care less about any of the rules meant to stop this stuff.

They keep ringing from loads of different numbers and under various company names. Today, they were pretending to be from a Financial Institution. I get calls from them a couple of times every week, sometimes even four. I told them I’d report them to the ICO, but they just said they’re allowed to call whenever. For roughly three years now, I keep getting calls asking for someone with the same name. Every time they ring, I block the number, but they just keep coming back from different phone numbers. Their accent is a bit hard to catch, which makes it even more sketchy. They claim I’ve submitted some form requesting info, but when I ask them for my name or email or any details, they can’t give me a straight answer. Honestly, it feels like a scam since they clearly have no clue who they’re actually calling.

Got a call today asking if #### was available, even though they’ve moved out over 15 years ago. The caller had my ex’s phone number, full name, email and some sort of account number. They claimed to be an investment manager and that she requested info. I rang #### and they told me an old online account linked to those old details had been compromised ages ago. Looks like this fraudster’s using stolen info from the hacked account. Definitely dodgy. The guy spoke with a foreign accent, maybe Eastern European, and said his name was Victor. I’m definitely blocking the number!
