7 yearsJust got a ring from 020 3603 2898. The caller was way too chatty and loud, speaking super fast. He said something about a company (couldn’t catch the name clearly) and claimed I reached out to them last year. Apologised for the delay and wanted to double-check my contact info. I asked him for his name and the company’s full name. He repeated “ST Global” - never heard of them before and I’m sure I didn’t contact anyone like that. He then mentioned fixed-rate investments and asked if I was interested in those. I was like, when exactly did I get in touch with you? He said I did it online, then the line got dodgy and he muttered “you clicked on a banner ad”.
