Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, saying they wanted to lower my bill. They asked for my name straightaway. Since I wasn’t expecting the call and EE didn’t show up on the caller ID, I asked them to confirm my postcode or email. They couldn’t really provide any correct details and tried giving me a postcode from Doncaster, but I live in Essex. I kept pressing them on why they couldn’t prove they actually worked for EE, my current provider, but they just ended the call.
