Just tried ringing that number one more time. Yep, sounds like an Indian call centre again. The bloke answering said the firm’s called “Best Online Holidays Metro”. He also claimed they were “fully protected” or something like that. Sure they are. Then they rang me back but from a private number. Honestly, best you steer clear of these lot to be on the safe side.

I rang the number and it got picked up by someone who sounded like they were working in a call centre in India. When I asked which company I was talking to, they said “best online holiday company”. The prices I saw on the ad in the Metro looked way too cheap to be legit. Feels like it might be a scam to me.

I saw this phone number in the latest issue of the Metro Paper, where they were promoting some amazingly cheap trips around Europe. I gave them a ring and had a chat with a really polite guy who gave me a price for a holiday to Spain for December 2023. The deal seemed a bit suspicious, like it was just too good to be real. Oddly, the bloke never mentioned the name of the travel company.
