Got a call from some scammer claiming to be a Google partner, kept asking loads of details. I had to cut it off before giving more info, but unfortunately they did get my work email. Next time, I’m definitely not sharing any info on the phone.

Got a call from this number earlier today (09/06/15) around 10 to 10.15 in the morning. The person claimed to be from Google and asked to speak to someone in charge. I told them I wasnt around, which is true. They said they’d call back later. So i checked the number with 1471 and was surprised to see a different number pop up. A quick Google search showed it was just another scammer trying their luck. Seriously, why cant anything be done to shut down these fraudsters?

I reached out to verify the accuracy of my business registration details and inquired about the individuals supposedly selling advertisements. They insisted they weren't involved in that at all. I also brought up search engines in the conversation.
