I got a call from some firm pushing a service that supposedly makes sure your business appears at the top of Google’s "My Business" listings. They went on about how the two businesses already showing up there had actually paid to be “locked in” or something like that. Honestly, it sounded like total rubbish and just made-up stories to me.

I just didn’t pick up 'cos I had no idea who was calling. Think it might be connected to a domain name I signed up for the other day. Most likely a web design company trying to pitch their services.
