Got a call from a number starting with +44 saying they were from HMRC and Customs, with an automated voice telling me my national insurance number was being misused fraudulently. I stayed on the line to chat to someone from their ‘team’ who asked me for my personal info. As soon as I told them they’d called me and should already have my details, they just cut me off. Total scam, steer well clear of this!
