Got a call from someone named Adam who had a really strong Asian accent asking me about my Hotpoint washing machine. When I said I don’t own a Hotpoint, he asked what brand mine was. After I answered, he kept insisting that it wasn’t a cold call but some kind of feedback survey. I asked him for a phone number to call back, then he just cut me off. Pretty odd experience really.
