Got a call from this number, some robo voice telling me I'm being charged with fraud and I need to press 1 to speak to HMRC or I'll get arrested straight away. Naturally I just hung up, but I reckon some folks would freak out and actually press it. If this number’s linked to a London code and has loads of complaints, why don’t the authorities just track down whoever owns it? It’s terrible how these scammers keep getting away with it.

They’ve called me about 20 times even though I asked them to stop repeatedly. I’m signed up with the TPS but they keep ringing anyway, and I’ve reported them to the TPS as well. Complete pain! You don’t even get a chance to talk to a real person at first, just some recorded message about a plumbing insurance I supposedly have that could be cheaper! No matter what you do, the message just says it’ll transfer you to another department. For me it happened three times and then the call just ended. Total waste of time.

It’s one of those automated messages pretending to be a proper person, but it won’t actually reply to anything you say. Best just to either hang up straight away or ignore the call if you recognise the number.

Got a call saying my home plumbing insurance with a firm called Secure My Home was about to run out and that I wasn't on the best deal they could offer. Quite the chat until I told him I don't have any deal with them since it’s all managed by a big international company. I don’t think he was happy I’d kept him talking for so long before hanging up loudly. If I hadn’t already renewed my cover, I might’ve fallen for it - the caller sounded really genuine.

Got loads of calls from this number claiming I’m overpaying for my appliance insurance. They keep saying they’re Homeserve, but it smells like a total scam. Really sick of it now!

Got a call from someone named "Lawrence" who claimed he could knock £5 a month off our kitchen appliance insurance. Bit strange since we don’t even have that sort of insurance. Pretty sure it was just another typical scam.

BEWARE OF SCAMMERS... I got a call from someone called Lawrence who seemed quite real but kept repeating the same questions, so I reckon it was just a recording. I coughed instead of answering properly and it got accepted as a yes by the system, then they passed me to a woman speaking with a foreign accent. When I told her it sounded like a scam, she hung up on me. Older folks, please watch out and don't fall for it!

Got a call from someone named "Laurence" trying to sell me kitchen appliance insurance. After that, they put me through to a woman with a foreign accent. When I asked her what exactly was covered (since I've got policies with several providers), she just rattled off every single one, which immediately made me suspicious that it was a con. I didn’t want to give her any details, so I ended the call straight away.

Got a call earlier but ignored it since I’m constantly getting scam calls. No voicemail was left either. Seeing what others have said, it’s pretty clear this was just another scam.

I got a call from someone called Lawrence at Home serve about insurance for my kitchen appliances. When I asked which appliance he meant, he seemed a bit confused and said he’d put me through to the tech team. I didn’t wait around and just ended the call. Definitely sounds like a dodgy scam, best not to answer or just hang up if you do.

This bloke rang me up saying he'd knock off £5 from my appliance cover payments as I never claimed anything. I told him, "But I don’t have appliance cover, so are you sayin' you'll give me £5 then?" He just went "Umm umm" and then cut me off. Proper cheeky, ain't it?
