He said someone had been using our internet without permission from some postcode seven miles away, and they wanted us to know. I put him on hold to see if anyone else thought this was dodgy, and when I came back, he’d hung up.BTUK9 yearsHeads up - got a call from someone saying they were from BT’s tech support team. They claimed there was a problem with my internet being hacked by some third party and wanted me to give them control of my PC to fix it. Total con to steal access to your machine. It sounds kinda believable though, so I reckon some folks might get tricked by it.
