They tried to pressure me into confirming my affiliation with the 3 phone network, as they were supposedly offering a "fantastic discount deal." I declined to engage further, and without so much as a goodbye, they promptly cut the line. Quite frustrating, really!

Someone rang me saying they were from Currys or PC World, but when I asked how they found my number, they just wouldn’t say. They talked about some big discount on phone plans and wanted to know my network provider. I didn’t want to share that, and the moment I said no, they just cut the call straight away.
