On the 19th of February 2021, just after midday, I got a rather alarming call from the number 02080973054. Upon picking up, a rather disconcerting automated message informed me that my name was apparently linked to a tax fraud investigation. Naturally, I was quite taken aback! When I attempted to return the call, I was met with a recorded message stating that the number was unrecognised and to check the digits before trying again. It all seems very fishy, quite reminiscent of a scam trying to masquerade as HMRC.

Really scary call. My other half hung on just to mess with him while the bloke rattled through his spiel. Now, they seem to have taken up the habit of ringing me several times weekly, yet they never bother leaving a message. - Caller: Don't know, as I simply ignore the calls.

I got a call the other day from Anglia Home Improvements. When I picked up, I told them to remove my number from their list and warned them I'd report them to the officials with a possible fine of £500,000. They ended up hanging up pretty quick after that!

I've told 02035805402 on three different occasions to take my phone number off their list. Every single time they promised me they would, but nothing has changed. Honestly, I think some government agency needs to slap them with a fine for breaking the data protection rules.

Just got a call from someone claiming to be the "Home Improvement Council," but it was actually Anglian Windows trying their luck :D This is the very first call I've had this month, and I was almost ready for them to say "Spammy New Year!" to me! They've been put straight onto my blacklist...
