4 yearsI received a rather peculiar call on my landline from someone who had the audacity to know my name. They claimed to be from a bank, although I couldn’t tell which one it was. This chap was probing to find out if I was expecting a money transfer from abroad, stating he needed to verify it with my bank. I said, "Well, go ahead then." His reply was rather cheeky, insisting that’s precisely why he was ringing me. At that point, I firmly stated that if he was already aware of my banking situation, he shouldn’t be bothering me at all. I didn't mince my words and told him in no uncertain terms to bugger off and seek legitimate employment. Then, I hung up on him.
