Got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be from a bank, though didn’t catch which one exactly. They had my name and asked if I was waiting for any money coming in from abroad, said they needed to verify with my bank. I said, okay, go ahead then. He said that’s why he was calling me. I told him if he already knew my bank details, there was no need to call, and pretty quickly told him to shove off and find a real job. Then I hung up straight away. Later, I checked my bank accounts just to be safe, and thankfully everything seemed fine.
