Got three calls from this number in just two days. Left some robotic message about tax stuff or something like that. Total scam, don’t answer!

I had a similar thing happen to me. They called on Friday and rang me again today, leaving this automated voice message. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

Got a call today just like the others mention here; when I asked for a reference number, they just made one up. Don’t let them get more info from you, just ask where the letter was supposedly sent. I’m planning to reach out to the tax office directly to sort this out.

That call was really strange, with a robotic voice talking about some HMRC tax evasion thing. The funny part is, I’ve paid too much tax, not less! Don’t bother calling back or texting that number, it’s definitely a scam. Glad this site exists though, so we can warn each other about these dodgy calls!

I got a voicemail about some tax evasion stuff and said there’s a warrant out for my arrest. It told me to ring them back urgently. Felt pretty dodgy to be honest, and I reckon it’d scare a few people hearing that.

I got two calls from this number, both times an automated voice left a message on my voicemail. The first time it got all jumbled up and I couldn’t catch the phone number properly. Then on the second call, they said I hadn’t accepted some letter and warned me about a warrant if I didn’t ring back. Really weird and a bit stressful!

Absolute con, they claimed there's a warrant out for me over unpaid taxes. I actually pay them every month.

Got a robocall claiming it was from HMRC about an arrest warrant for tax evasion - had a good laugh since we’re actually a limited company and settled our massive tax bill only last week. Honestly though, I can see how these calls might really stress some folks out. They keep asking me to ring them back, guessing it's some sort of scam. Best thing is just to give these muppets a miss.

I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC saying I was being investigated for cheating on my tax returns. Complete nonsense because I’m self-employed and actually just got a refund recently. I’ve already told HMRC about it.

Today I received a voicemail from 02035751497. I rang them back and it turned out to be a total scam. The bloke claimed his name was John Clark and said he worked as an HMRC Criminal Investigations Officer with the reference UK261109. But honestly, from his accent it was clear that wasn’t his real name at all. When I pressed him for more info, he just kept denying everything. Definitely dodgy!
