Got a call claiming to give me a discount on phone plans from places like EE, Vodafone and O2. They wanted all my details like full name, address and even bank info. I played along and wasted about 20 minutes talking to them, trying to figure out what their scheme was. When I suggested they just knock the discount off my current bill instead of demanding all my personal stuff, they ended up hanging up on me. Classic scam move!

Got an email saying my ipad’s being delivered to 127 Ledbury Road, London W11 2AQ. That’s not my place at all and I never ordered anything anyway. The phone number they gave was 0203 575 1059. Strange!

I received a message urging me to call this number, claiming it’s for those who haven't bought anything from eBay. After doing a bit of digging, I decided to trash the email, as it looks rather dodgy to me.

My husband got an email claiming it's from eBay, indicating he'd bought a 10.2" iPad for £399.98. The details included 64GB Wifi, marked as the 9th generation, with £41.45 in tax and free shipping, making the subtotal £440.43 and the grand total £441.43. It even asked him to ring +442035751059. However, I reckon this is fishy. Could it possibly be a scam?

I stumbled upon this number while sifting through an alleged eBay invoice for an Apple Watch Series 2 that I certainly didn't place an order for! To top it off, when I tried to ring it, it seemed to be redirected somewhere but I couldn’t get through to anyone at all. What a strange situation!

Got an email that looked like it was from Ebay Support about an order I definitely never placed. They included a phone number in the email, so I gave it a look up here. Now, I’m just seeing if there’s been any dodgy activity on my credit card with some pricey online buys I don’t remember making.

Just got an dodgy email saying my iPad had been shipped and to ring 02035751059 if it didn’t arrive when it said it would. Don’t pick up if you get a similar message, the number is definitely scammers. Best thing to do is forward the email as an attachment to [email protected] so it can be dealt with.

Subject: Beware of eBay Phishing Email Hello folks, I've received an email that raises some serious red flags regarding a supposed transaction on eBay. The message suggests that a package is set to be delivered to a specific address, accompanied by an invitation to contact their so-called "fraud protection team" through a listed phone number. Here’s the kicker: I haven’t made any such order! The email, which is laden with formal language, claims my item-a fancy Apple ultra watch-costs quite a bit and includes a hefty shipping fee. They even go on about delivery times and the requirement for a signature upon arrival. All this seems rather dubious, don’t you think? If you get something like this, be extremely cautious and don’t engage. It’s probably a scam designed to lure unsuspecting recipients. Keep your wits about you, everyone!
