They said they were from HMRC and left a voicemail about some criminal probe into tax fraud linked to me. When I finally got through to the people behind it, I just told them to go stuff themselves. Honestly, scammers pulling this kind of stunt really deserve something nasty, like a proper bout of knob rot.
