Got a call from 020 3555 2612 at 11:58 this morning, sounded like an American voice with a recorded message about tax fraud. Played along just to see what would happen, ended up speaking to someone from an Indian call centre pretending to be HMRC. Asked a couple of questions they obviously couldn’t answer and then they just hung up. Pretty clear scam to me, though I don’t get why it shows up as a Barclays number.
