Dodgy call. Picked up and this young sounding lady asked if i’d been in some kind of accident. I said no and told her to take me off their calling list. She kept asking what accident i’d had, but I said they have to remove me if I ask, and if they ring again I’ll report them to Ofcom and the police. Check the Ofcom site if youre getting dodgy calls like this.

Today, 27th Jan 2016 around 4.08pm, I got a call from a woman asking if I’d been in a car accident within the past couple of years. I told her no, then she wanted me to confirm again that I hadn’t had any accidents. I said yes, definitely no, so please remove me from your call list. Before I could finish, she just cut me off. Such a pest, so I blocked the number straight away... Must be one of those dodgy insurance claim chasers or something.

I got a call just after I registered a new domain, and since I didn’t pay for privacy protection, my number got leaked. Woman on the phone said: “You recently had a serious car crash.” I replied: “Yeah, that’s true, so you’re aware then… when exactly did it happen?” She said: “Can you remind me of the date?” I answered: “So you don’t even know? Looks like those car crash scammers are changing their tactics. Instead of a robot voice, this time it was someone real who said they got my number as I’d been in an accident that wasn’t my fault, asking “Is that right?” I told them no and mentioned I don’t even have a car, then told them to leave me alone. They just cut me off straight away without a word. I could hear other voices in the back doing the same trick to other folks, so it’s obvious they’re just dialling out and following a script.

This number keeps ringing me non stop. They keep going on about some car crash I was in.. Last time I picked up, I decided to have a bit of fun with them.. “Is this about that accident I had?” I asked. They said yes, so I gave them the full story. Apparently, I crashed, my wife and kids got hurt, and we hit a car my uncle was driving. Then they passed me onto someone else.... So I told them how I was waving and let go of the wheel, then we crashed into my uncle’s car, which then went on to hit my sister’s car with my grandparents inside. Sadly, my granddad died in that one. Thing is, my grandad was actually driving, and he slammed on the accelerator, went over the central reservation, and crashed into my best friend’s car. He was taking his mum to a heart appointment, but she died from the shock. My best friend then got out and shot my granddad (who was already dead), and my sister’s husband tried to snatch the gun. It went off and shot my brother’s car, after we called him for help. He lost control, veered off the road and ended up on Gatwick runway, crashing into a plane my dad was piloting. The plane caught fire just as the fire crew, which my uncle was part of, arrived. They swerved to avoid the blaze but crashed into my car on the road. Then, just like that, they hung up on me.
