Some automated voice said it was from HMRC and warned that if I didn't hit 1 to talk to someone, I'd be arrested soon. Seriously, whoever's behind this is just pathetic.

This number kept ringing me a bunch of times, but I usually dont pick up calls from unknown numbers. I looked it up here and decided I’m just gonna block it now.

Got two calls from BT in just a few hours, trying to talk computer stuff to me even though I don't own one. Had a laugh about it and told them to stop calling this number. Seems they've finally put a block on it now.

Got four calls today when we were out, but thankfully Call Guardian stopped the phone from ringing. The number still popped up in the missed calls list though, and there was no voicemail left. Rang the number back and BT said the line’s unconnectable! That’s all I needed to know. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number and marked it as risky after reading what others have said about it.

They've rang me around 8 times already, nonstop! I've let it go to voice - no message left though. Blocking numbers doesn't help cause they just pop up with a different one seconds later! Plus had about 4 calls from abroad today with no actual number showing - you can't block those either! It's just mad how these scam calls keep invading your privacy like this, super annoying.

Some guy with quite a strong Asian accent, calling himself 'Shaun', rang me up pretending to offer tech support for my workplace. When I told him to put me on their do-not-call list, he just cut the call. Annoyingly, I've already had a couple more calls from them today. Definitely feels like a scam!

This guy calling me, sounding like he can barely string a sentence together, so I just cut the call straight away. He’s been ringing me up twice every day for the past five days.

They rang earlier while I wasn’t home, then got back to me later that day. Said they were from BT OpenReach and that my internet was running slow, but it felt like a scam to me trying to get money. I told them straight up it was dodgy and ended the call.

Got a call earlier from some bloke saying he was with BT or Openreach. I told him straight up that I hadn’t asked for the call, it was unsolicited and I’m supposed to be shielded from this kind of bother. I said I’d be reporting him to my phone provider. He just hung up on me. After that, I got two more calls from the same number - one even left a weird beep and a “bye” on my voicemail. Just got another ring from them too. I’m definitely blocking this number now so it won’t bother me again.

Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was with BT Openreach, saying my internet was causing some risky traffic. When I told him I wasn’t buying it, he suddenly went, "F##k you, man" and just hung up.

Got an automated call, definitely one of those scam robocalls.

This number has phoned me loads of times, and it's the same old song. I’ve told them straight up that I’m onto their scam and to stop bothering me, but they just don’t listen. I’m signed up with the TPS too, but it hasn’t stopped a single call. They ring every single day without fail. I’m thinking of telling them we don't use wifi or own any computers or mobiles next, and if that fails, I’ll just stop picking up altogether - what a pain!

Got a call on this line at about 2.56 pm on 25th June 2018 from a bloke claiming he was with BT saying my internet connection was rubbish. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it. The number he rang from was 02035448901. My advice, just tell them “not today” and that you’ll report them to the cops.

I got a call from a robot today, the line was silent for a bit, then suddenly a beep popped up. After that a robotic voice just said "Goodbye" and the call ended. Definitely one of those automated calls just going through numbers one after another.

I got a call from what sounded like a robot. At first, the line was just silent for a bit, then suddenly there was this beep followed by a weird robotic voice saying “Goodbye” before the call ended. Pretty obvious they’re running some automated thing, dialing loads of numbers at once.

Just got a ring on my home phone from this number. The moment I answered, there was this sharp screech noise followed by some robotic voice saying goodbye. Tried at 1471 and dialled it back but only ended up with the same shrill noise and a mechanical voice telling me the call can’t be completed right now. Kinda worried it might be one of those numbers that costs you to call back??

Got a call from a girl with an Asian accent who gave an English name, saying she was from BT. When I challenged her to verify she really worked there, she got all defensive and then just cut off the call. Proper dodgy. Watch out for these lot - they might try to sneak a virus onto your PC and nick your private info. Best to steer clear.

I got a call from a guy calling himself Thomas Wilson, said he was with Openreach but had a really strong Asian accent. He claimed my internet was sending out harmful data and offered to fix it. I played along for a bit, but when he twigged I wasn’t buying it, he just ended the call straight away.
