I picked up the phone and some woman with an accent started off saying she was conducting a survey. She talked so fast I couldn't really make out what the survey was about. I told her I was busy and couldn’t take part. She kept insisting she only needed a couple of minutes. I repeated that I was rushing to visit my mum in hospital, so I couldn’t chat. She then got a bit annoyed, going, “I’m just asking for a few minutes!” That was the last straw - I told her off and slammed the phone down. It’s unbelievable how these people think they can pester you at your own place like that.
