25/06/06. I got a scary alert on my iPad claiming to be from Microsoft Defender, with a phone number to call. Suddenly, the iPad started blaring an alarm and a voice saying my device was locked and I shouldn’t turn it off or leave the page, but call that number instead. I quickly closed the webpage and erased all browser history. Microsoft would never ask you to call a random number like that. Total scam, definitely avoid calling the number shown in the alert.
