Got a call from someone with an Asian accent who came across as pretty polite at the start, but then he began requesting personal details. His voice was calm, nothing scary, until I wouldn’t share any info. After that, he claimed he was from the metropolitan police and said there was a warrant for my arrest over armed robbery and assault on an officer. He even said he knew where I lived and that an armed team was on the way. I told him I’m a barrister based in Hull, and he immediately ended the call.
