I got a call from someone claiming to be O2, so I picked up. I told them I’m no longer with O2 since I paid off my contract recently. Mentioned I’d already had a call from O2 this week too, then they just hung up. Seems like a scam or a pushy sales tactic for a cheaper deal, but definitely not genuine O2. Earlier this week I had a similar call from a number like that trying to flog cheaper contracts while pretending to be O2. When I said I wasn’t interested and that I’m with another provider, they got annoyed and cut me off.
