They keep ringing me but never say anything when I pick up.

They keep ringing my landline at home loads of times daily and always leave messages claiming to be from the bank.

I got called seven times today from this number, all between 12:46 pm and 6:40 pm. Every time I tried calling back, it just rang out with no one picking up, not even an answering machine. Luckily, my new landline phone automatically blocks calls from anyone who doesn’t say their name first, so random or unknown callers like this never get through to me. My phone’s a BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker, and honestly, it’s brilliant - 100% blocks unknown numbers if they don’t identify themselves before I pick up. If you’re fed up with annoying, persistent callers like this one, I’d definitely suggest grabbing one. Just to note, the number calling me was 0203 524 7717.

Got a call from someone claiming to be about compensation, but it was defo a spammer from India. They used a local number to make it look legit, bit dodgy if you ask me.
