I picked up the phone, but couldn’t really catch where they were ringing from due to their accent. I had to ask them to say it again a couple of times, and then they just ended the call on me 😒

This number called me three times today, first at 9:30 in the morning, then again at 10, and once more around 11:30. Each time no one spoke and the call just dropped after a few seconds. Quite odd really.

Someone called saying they were with EE, offering a free upgrade, but then they started asking for all my personal info, which seemed odd since EE should already have that. When I questioned them about it, they just ended the call.

I got a call around 11.54 on the 1st Feb 2024 from a bloke who spoke English but had an Indian accent. He said my phone was with EE and that there were special offers available, but when I told him it wasn’t, he asked which provider I was with. I didn’t want to give it, so he just ended the call.

The call came through but nobody spoke when I answered. The voicemail mentioned discounts and collections with a bit more added. Seems like a total rip-off.

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, but they didn't say anything or leave a voicemail. So I've just blocked it.

It took nearly 10 seconds for the call to finally go through, and judging by the strong accent from the woman on the other end, I’d guess they’re calling from somewhere like India, definitely not the UK. They claimed to be from my mobile provider (which they make sure is correct by checking the number's network online), and tried to convince me they were ringing to offer me a fantastic discount on my phone bill. I wasn’t having any of it - told them to get lost straight away, hung up, and blocked their number sharpish. Pretty sure it’s just another dodgy scam call!

SCAM ALERT!!! Got a call from someone claiming to be from Three, offering to slash my bill by 40%. Then they started asking how much I usually pay. I told them they’d probably know better than me since it’s their service! Next, they wanted to know what phone I had. This felt fishy, especially since I had a similar call recently but from another number. Ended up hanging up and blocked them straight away. Total scam!

They called but I didn't pick up, didn't bother leaving a voicemail. So I just blocked the number.

They called, rang for a couple of seconds then cut off. About an hour later they phoned again, and when I picked up, all I could hear was heavy breathing. After saying "hello" a few times, I asked if they were just going to breathe down the phone and not actually say anything. Then the bloke shouted, "I'm knackered from messing with your missus, you muppet," and slammed the phone down. Honestly, steer clear of these lot - it's more disturbing than a usual scam call.

I reckon this was a scam, cos I got an O2 Airtime PIN just before they called me. I said to them, if they wanted any info, they’d have to give me the security password we supposedly agreed on (which isn’t actually set up, but I didn’t say that). As soon as I said that, they just cut the call.

This 020 number keeps ringing me daily, no matter how many times I try block it. There’s an Indian woman on the other end, you can tell by her accent, but honestly I can barely catch what she’s saying. They don’t speak first, I always have to start the conversation, and it’s always about the same Three network scam. It’s so frustrating I’ve ended up missing a doctor’s appointment because I just won’t pick up anymore - I just hang up straight away now. The worst part is, the phone doesn’t even mark it as spam, so you feel you should answer. It’s driving me mad, honestly. I reckon these lot should be locked up or sent back where they came from.

For the past few days, I've been receiving calls from similar numbers. On day one, it was 02035236409, then the next day it was almost the same, but the last two digits changed to 10, and today it switched to 11. I’m guessing tomorrow it might be 12. I got a call from this number and when my voicemail answered, there was some weird gibberish on the message. I'm pretty sure whoever was talking didn’t realise the call was being recorded. This bloke said he was from o2 and was trying to push some sort of deal on me. Wouldn’t say what my new monthly bill would be unless I handed over my email. I knew it was dodgy straight away, so I just kept them on the phone a bit, even as they started getting louder and kept demanding my email “for security reasons”. After a bit I gave them an ultimatum: either they tell me the actual cost or I’m off. They took a wild stab at my monthly payment, way higher than my real amount. I told them that wasn’t right at all and called them out on the nonsense before ending the call.

When I picked up, there was a bit of a delay before anyone spoke, which made me guess it might be from abroad. A woman with a pretty thick accent was on the line, and it was quite tricky to catch what she was saying, but she mentioned Three. I quickly told her I'm not interested and hung up. I seriously doubt Three would just ring people out of the blue like that, so to me, it sounds like a scam call.
