Some bloke rang me, said he was from this company called Ownership, wanted to chat about my timeshare and how long I've had it. Thing is, I've never owned one, not now or in the past. No clue where he got my details from, and then he just ended the call real quick.

Sounds quite believable at first, but definitely a con - they tried to offer me a "club class" refund. I told them to just send over the cheque minus their fees! After mentioning we'd dealt with loads of calls like this before, it became clear it was a scam. The bloke quickly saw he wasn’t getting anywhere with me, so politely said he wouldn’t bother me any longer and ended the call. Don’t fall for it. Accept that you might have lost some cash (we did) but don’t let it go any further than that.

Got a call claiming my timeshare was in liquidation, but that’s totally false. Seems like a scam trying to trick you into suing the timeshare firm. They say they’ve won loads of cases but as far as I can tell, no one actually got any cash back. People just end up paying heaps on legal fees and lose out. Definitely blocking this number.
