Got a call the other day from someone claiming they were calling from New York, asking if I’d put any money into investments a while back. Pretty clear it was a scam, trying to get me to put in £200 and then rip me off. Nowadays, you can’t trust anything you hear on the phone, scammers are everywhere. Honestly, I just don’t pick up calls I don’t recognise anymore. If it's legit, they’ll leave a voicemail, right? That's the only way to be sure these days.
