####Scam alert#### I got a voicemail saying it was the tax office trying to reach me because apparently I hadn’t filed my tax returns and there’s some warrant for my arrest. They left a phone number to call back to fix things. I didn’t ring them back, just blocked the number since I don’t file tax returns as I’m not self-employed. Total scam!!

Heard loads of chatter like a busy call centre behind the phone. Woman with a strong Indian accent asked if I wanted to review my life insurance. I just ended the call. Definitely a SCAM.

Got a call from a lady with a thick accent, background noise like a busy call centre. She said she was from my life insurance provider and wanted to go over my policy. Let her talk, making minimal.responds to keep her going. After a bit I stopped her and said it was odd she was so certain I had a life insurance plan when I’ve never taken one out. Then she switched her approach saying since I didn’t have one, she could help me find the right policy and set up an application. I said no thanks and blocked the number straight away.

There was a lot of background chatter like a call centre. The caller clearly struggled with saying my name right and was telling me to check my life insurance. I asked how they found my number, but their reply was unclear. Told them to take me off their call list and then I blocked the number.

Gave me a call but didn’t bother to leave a message-most likely a con artist.

It took ages for the caller to pick up, which was already suspicious! They couldn’t even pronounce my name right and sounded like a rushed call centre worker talking way too fast. They claimed there was some industry update and I needed to revisit my life insurance. When I told them it’s my partner who handles that and he’d call back, the bloke just cut me off straight away!

Got a call about a review on my life insurance and they started asking loads of suspicious questions. I could tell it was a scam trying to get info. I didn't give them a thing and when I called them out, the person just ended the call straight away!!!

Got a call today but no voicemail was left. I’ve got loads of these numbers building up and even with the new rules, it seems like it doesn’t bother the calls from abroad - which they usually are. It’s a right pain every day. I’ve stopped picking up my landline now and just call back mates who actually leave a message.

They started off asking for my mum, but when I said that wasn’t me, the guy sounded like he took it personally and quickly switched to trying some sort of scam! Could hear what sounded like loads of people talking in the background like some dodgy call centre. Proper shady stuff.

I've had this number ring me up three times today all about court stuff and tax dodging. They keep asking for personal info and want me to open accounts or something. When I asked again, they just kept going through their script without answering. Number got blocked straight away. Honestly, my blocked list on my phone is bigger than the list of my mates now. This kind of thing really ought to be stopped.

a polite lady rang me at about midday from this number. she said she was with the review department. she just assumed i was the right person to talk to. mentioned something about me missing my yearly life review and asked if that was true. i said yes, i havent done it yet but i actually keep an eye on my life daily myself so i dont think i need her help. don't know why she just ended the call haha!
