I asked who he was and why he was contacting me. He gave a name, but I couldn’t quite catch it properly. He explained they called because I might have asked for info, clicked some online ad (which I didn't recall), or someone had recommended me. When I mentioned UK law requires them to say where they got my details from, he just said his manager would know but he didn’t. I told him I’d be reporting both him and the company because they should have to provide that info straight away and I wanted my data removed from their records right now.
