I just stayed quiet when I picked up. Then a woman with a Scottish accent said, "I know - I'm swearing like crazy - I'm drunk - hope you're hearing this." I'm registered with TPS but it doesn't seem to make any difference with these calls, which are now getting way beyond the usual silent or sales ones. The government seriously needs to step in and sort this out.

What's the story?", they just hung up straight away. Tried calling back but the line was gone dead. Why does nobody seem to care? These phone numbers aren’t exactly easy to get hold of. Got loads of annoying calls from some call centre called Forums Media, saying they had 10 vouchers worth £1000 to give away. Didn’t even let them finish before hanging up. Got a call from a woman, maybe Chinese, trying to chat with one of us but she messed up the name, calling me or my husband something wrong. I asked who she was but she went silent.
