Got a call from someone named Stephen claiming to be from “GEA” about checking into “timeshare mis-selling”. I mentioned we’re quite pleased with our Diamond Resorts Membership, but asked if he could send some info in writing so I could look it over later. As soon as I said that, he just hung up! I attempted to ring him back a few times, but the calls kept not going through. Definitely seemed sketchy and not very professional. Ended up blocking the number.

This is at least the tenth time someone’s called me pretending to be from some timeshare advisory group. Each time they ring from a new number, which I block straight away. When I spoke to this one, I told them nicely to take me off their list and ended the call. But as I was hanging up, I could still hear her going on, saying Club La Costa had passed on my info!

Even though I blocked this number, they still tried calling me, saying a name out loud. Before the lady said her name, I caught some faint noise from a call centre in the background.

Got calls on both my home phone and mobile from a woman claiming to be with some company called TAN or something about timeshare and new EU laws. I calmly told her to remove me from their contacts. I've now filed a complaint with https://ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/thanks/ and plan to get in touch with the timeshare firm too, as they’ve clearly broken data protection rules. Seriously, don’t just hang up - make sure you report it!

Over the last couple of weeks, this number has rung me like 20 times on my phone. I just didn’t pick up any of the calls because the number seemed a bit dodgy.

They started calling me on my mobile, then switched over to the landline. Thing is, I'm ex-directory, and even though I blocked the mobile, can't seem to block the landline. Reported them as nuisance but still they ring. This morning I told the caller off proper, told him where to go, and guess what? He just hung up on me! Maybe now they'll finally stop pestering me. Fingers crossed!

They just switch up the last 4 digits so it’s basically the same lot (timeshare folks) but harder to block because of the small changes. It’s really frustrating. I’ve been inundated with calls from a telesales rep regarding a timeshare that I’ve made it abundantly clear I have zero interest in. We've repeatedly informed them that it’s not something we want, yet they persist with two or three calls a day. On 20/04/20 about 10.58 we got a call. My partner made it clear we aren’t interested in any timeshares and asked them to take our number off their list.
