Received a call from T A C regarding timeshares. I simply remarked, “Just another scam caller,” and ended the call. They rang back to express that I had been rather discourteous. I informed them, “This is an unsolicited call from a company we have no prior engagement with, thus it’s probably a scam,” before hanging up once more. It's been relatively quiet on that front since!

You should report the number to 7726 - this helps phone companies flag any fishy activity linked to it. Sadly, you can’t report scam calls directly through the police’s ‘Action Fraud’ website anymore because they’ve shut down that form, probably to save money. If you’re annoyed by that, maybe have a word with your MP about it. Still, you can send screenshots of scam messages to the cyber crime unit via email at '[email protected]', plus you should definitely forward them to 7726 as well.
