1 yearSomebody rang me pretending to be from EE, telling me my SIM card was expired and would stop working in three days. I told them my SIM was brand new and ended the call. Then they phoned back asking for my email, and I told them if they were really from EE they’d already have it on file. The bloke then just ended the call. I've now blocked the number.EE1 yearTotal con! They rang claiming to be from EE wanting to do an upgrade, then asked for my email address. When I called them out on the dodgy behaviour, they just hung up straight away. My tip: Tell them you’re not interested and then block the number, don’t waste your time.EE1 yearGot called by some sketchy scammers from India, dodgy lot!India1 yearI picked up but the voice was really muffled, like I couldn’t make out if they said 3 or EE. With all the static, it was impossible to tell. I don’t have anything to do with those companies anyway, so I just ended the call. Then, less than 15 seconds later, they rang again. Same thing, so I cut them off once more. Feels like a spam call to me - no legitimate call centre would be so difficult to understand.1 yearGot a notification saying this number might be spam, so I didn’t pick up and just let it ring through to voicemail. When I listened back, I could hear some voices chatting in the background, but the caller themselves never said a word before hanging up.Submit Your Own Report (020 3518 4581)
