I got a call, it rang just three times before they cut off. Most likely they were testing if the number is still active. Judging by what others have said, it's almost certainly a scam.

This guy faking being a scammer, probably some Indian bloke, really ought to have it banned. Seriously, he should be locked up and given a proper sentence for what he's pulled.

I got a call from someone saying they were with EE. I told them I wasn't a customer and asked why they were ringing me. Then the call just ended suddenly. I've blocked that number now.

They said they were with 3 network or something, but I was out on my bike so it must’ve been really noisy on my end. They just hung up on me - total scam! Don’t waste your time unless you’re just looking for a bit of a laugh 😆

Someone said they were calling from O2 and asked if I was the person who had the account. But when I asked them who exactly they wanted to talk to, they just wouldn’t say. They said they’d send me a text with some kind of ‘confirmation code’ so I could show I owned the account. Bit fishy if you ask me.
