Then he pretended to check with his “manager” and suddenly offered me unlimited calls, texts and data with an iPhone 12 Pro Max for £30. As if. Next up, he started talking about a £30 holding fee I needed to pay. I asked if the deal was on their website, but he just waffled on about the holding payment. Then he claimed it was only for people with “good credit scores.” So I asked how he had my credit info and even asked his name since he seemed so confident.
