6 yearsSome bloke claiming to be from J P Morgan got in touch about some tax free bonds with a 5.4% return over five years. He sent me some pretty official-looking paperwork by email and said he’d ring me back in a few days once I’d had a chat with my hubby. Honestly, my husband smelt a rat straight away and warned me it was probably a con. I’m with him on this one - best steer clear of it altogether.I P Morgan6 yearsGot a call from an unknown number but they didn’t leave a message. After reading what others have said about this number, I decided to just block it. Don’t want to take any chances.6 yearsI was recently contacted by someone claiming to represent J P Morgan. He introduced himself as Patrick Kennedy and mentioned some rather enticing interest rates for bonds aimed at new clients. Apparently, they could go as high as 5.4% for a five-year tax-exempt bond - sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? He sent over some really convincing details to my email and mentioned he’d follow up with a call in a few days. However, my gut tells me this is nothing but a scam. Stay alert folks!J P MorganPatrick Kennedy7 yearsIt seems that some fraudsters might have gained access to your phone number, potentially from websites like investmentcomparisonguide.com or investmentcomparison.co.uk. It would be wise to alert the Financial Conduct Authority at 08001116768 about this issue.Financial Conduct Authority7 yearsI picked up and said hi, and all I got was some robotic voice telling me goodbye straight away. Just another robocall!7 yearsBeware of fraudsters posing as J.P. Morgan on the website jpmorganpc.com. These scammers are up to no good!J. P. Morgan7 yearsAbsolutely dodgy individuals! Beware of these con artists!7 yearsI recently had the misfortune of dealing with a rather suave individual who goes by the name David Connern, claiming to represent J P Morgan through the website jpmorganpc.com. He's been known to operate under the pseudonym Charles Craven as well. This chap will attempt to entice you with some rather appealing bond offers from J P Morgan. Make no mistake, he knows his stuff when it comes to finance and can be alarmingly persuasive. From what I gathered, he’s got at least two accomplices - one going by Simon and another gentleman of African descent. Their documentation appears impressively authentic from J P Morgan. They’ve managed to set themselves up in a rather grand office, which certainly adds to their credibility. Steer clear of this lot at all costs!David ConnernJ P MorganCharles CravenSimonSteer7 yearsReally annoying how they ring up out of the blue and push hard to get you to buy stuff. Felt like they weren’t taking no for an answer at all. Proper high pressure sales pitch, not impressed.Submit Your Own Report (020 3514 8261)
