Hey everyone, just a heads up - there are scammers out there pretending to be the Telephone Preference Service, trying to sell a “lifetime” service for £89. Kinda ironic cos TPS is actually free and they’re often the ones behind loads of my unwanted calls! Some numbers they’ve been calling from are: 020 3514 0603, 020 8133 1888, 020 8829 2319, and 020 8080 7406. They even ask for a “customer ID” which REALLY seems like the long number on your credit card. Watch out!

I received a rather dodgy call from a number that kept trying to get through to me multiple times yesterday, which I found rather unsettling. They finally managed to connect today, and frankly, I was at my wits' end with the constant barrage of calls from people I didn’t recognise. It turned out to be a gentleman from Africa attempting to peddle what he claimed were some lottery tickets. I wasn’t keen on that idea and politely turned him down, as my gut was telling me it was all a bit fishy.

I've had three calls from this number within just five minutes! The person on the other end claimed it was about a £1000 gift voucher that I supposedly applied for. When I inquired about which company she represented, her tone turned quite sharp and insisted I pay attention to her. I told her that I hadn’t filled out any application since this is actually my twelve-year-old daughter's number. Surprisingly, she retorted that I should heed her words. Quite baffling, really!

Really pushy and quite rude. The caller, speaking with a South African accent, claimed I’d won some free tickets in Friday’s Euro Millions draw. Got a call saying I'd won some online contest. I told them I never entered anything, but she insisted I wouldn't be getting the call if I hadn’t. So I played along. She mentioned my name and address, then asked for my email to confirm it. I said, if you already have my email, why do you need me to tell you? She said it was to make sure it’s really me. I told her, since you know my email, can you tell me a word from it that’s not ‘hotmail’ or the number part? After that, she just hung up.
