I received a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime, asking if I wished to continue my subscription, which they said was about to auto-renew for £79.99. The thing is, I don't even have a Prime account! They even tried to fish for details about my phone, insisting it was necessary to send a number to cancel the so-called subscription. I told them that was irrelevant and urged them to cease their scamming antics. Ridiculous!

Received a rather peculiar phone call today from a lady who claimed I had snagged a Samsung mobile as a prize. She said I’d also been entered into a draw and was among the fortunate few who'd won. Apparently, I’d be joining a syndicate of 150 for the Euro Millions over the next three months. They assured me there was no money required upfront, yet they insisted on obtaining my bank details to deposit the supposed winnings. I knew then it was time to end the conversation!

Earlier today, I received a rather dubious call where they went on about some lottery winnings or an entry I supposedly had. To be honest, I rarely indulge in the lottery and whenever I do, it’s always in person with a ticket in hand! I hung up the phone, and wouldn’t you know it, they’ve been trying to ring me again. Seriously, folks, be cautious! Don’t share any personal details with these scammers.

I had a rather dubious phone call earlier, where the caller claimed I’d be entered into the Euromillions draw taking place on Friday. They kept prying about which bank I preferred for the winnings to be deposited. It felt a bit off, and when I declined to share my details, they abruptly informed me I wouldn’t be entered after all and promptly hung up. Quite the peculiar experience, I must say!
