I received a rather persistent cold call first thing this morning, and it just wouldn’t let up.

I got a call from my elderly father-in-law who was all over the place because someone phoned him asking for his bank card info. He mentioned it wasn’t the first time he’d been hassled by these calls. When I tried ringing the number back, I just got a busy signal and then the line suddenly cut off.

I've got to say, these individuals have been relentless in their torment of my elderly mother, who is 89 and suffers from dementia. Their behaviour is absolutely appalling-harassing her with threats of debt collectors and other menacing tactics. It's utterly disgraceful and causes her no end of distress; they truly are the lowest of the low.
