WARNING: BE CAUTIOUS OF THIS CALLER! I received a phone call on the 25th of June in 2012, and let me tell you, it was rather unsettling. The chap, who introduced himself as David, was alarmingly persuasive, even going so far as to state my ID address. I can’t lie, it put me on edge. My instincts were screaming at me, so I flat out refused to allow him access to my accounts, but I ended up engaging in a lengthy conversation for nearly an hour, caught in a bit of a dilemma over how to extricate myself. Eventually, I stumbled upon his website and realised it was him that posed a genuine threat, not my device. I then informed him that I was about to contact the police, and lo and behold, he terminated the call without a second thought. I’m grateful for this platform that sheds light on such matters, and I sincerely hope my experience serves as a warning to others. Whatever you do, don’t comply with his requests!
