Got a call from someone saying they represented a trading firm. They sounded pretty legit at first but I couldn't figure out what they really wanted. They asked me to change my password via an email they sent. I got a bad vibe straight away. He kept pushing me to keep talking instead of putting it off. Not entirely sure what the goal was since my trading account doesn’t have any funds in it. Just watch out, folks.

I got a call from 02035142227 and had a feeling it might be dodgy. Turns out, it’s linked to Voxbone SA, and from what I’ve heard, it’s mostly used for broadband scams. Be careful if this number pops up!

Got a call today from a number I didn't recognise. I usually don’t pick up if I don’t know who it is. If it’s important, they’ll probably leave a message, right? After that, I look the number up on this site and then block it if it looks dodgy.

So this bloke said he was from Microsoft, right? When I asked him for my account number, he gave me a completely different one that had nothing to do with me. Then he started threatening to lock me out of my account. I just had a good laugh at that.

This bloke kept hassling me, insisting he was calling from BT. When I asked for my account number, he just threw out some random digits. I told him they were wrong and he went off on one, shouting all sorts of abuse at me. Definitely not BT. If it truly was, they might want to seriously improve how they train their reps.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from BT Openreach, which immediately seemed off since BT and Openreach parted ways ages ago, like 2017 or something. He went on to say there was an issue with my internet. I told him I don’t use BT for my broadband because I’m on full fibre. He tried pushing ‘fibre’ again, but when I corrected him to full fibre, he just cut me off. Pretty obvious scam to me.

Got a call from this number around 8.40 in the morning, picked up and nothing but silence on the other end! Pretty sure this must be another one of those scams, especially after seeing what others have said here. Just a few days back, I had a call claiming to be from BT Openreach - turned out to be a scam too. When will something be done about all these scam calls popping up more and more? It’s getting ridiculous.

Right from the start I could tell it was a con when the lady said, “Hi, how are you doing today?” She was an Asian woman claiming to be calling from Open Reach about my internet. I wasn't impressed and pretty bluntly told her to get lost, knowing full well it was just a scam. Pretty sure that didn’t sit well with her!

I got a call from 02035142227 early morning, like around 8.30 on the 24th of Feb 2023. Normally, no one calls me so early unless it’s something urgent. The minute I heard the voice which sounded kind of foreign, I just ended the call straight away. Then I looked up the number and blocked it on my phone. Since it’s known where this scam call centre is based, and they’re obviously trying to con people out of their cash, shouldn’t the authorities just raid the place and close it down for good?

My home phone started ringing and I picked up, assuming it was someone I knew. To my surprise, the person asked for my name. When I asked who was calling, they claimed to be from Barclays Bank. Since I don’t have any accounts with Barclays, I pretty quickly shut it down and told them off. That number has definitely been blocked now.

I reckon this is likely a spam or cold call trying to get my attention. We’ve got measures in place to fend off these nuisances! Just so you know, Microsoft never rings anyone up and certainly doesn’t leave voicemails. It’s wise to steer clear of picking up any 0203 numbers unless you actually recognise the caller.

For the past few weeks, I've been receiving these annoying calls purportedly from Microsoft, and it always happens around 8:05 to 8:30 in the morning.
