I gotta say, Microsoft does NOT call you out of the blue. If you ever get a call from someone saying they're from Microsoft, Amazon, PayPal, or even Geek Squad, be very careful. These are almost always con artists trying to scam you. Just hang up and don’t even bother talking to them!

Some bloke called me saying he was Kevin Larma from Microsoft. The minute I mentioned “this call is being recorded,” he just went quiet and hung up straight away! I’ve blocked that number now, no way I’m picking up again.
