They just rang me but didn’t say a word. I’ve now put them on the block list that my phone company manages.

Got a call from a supposed American speaker, but it was clearly an Indian call centre trying a new trick. The usual nonsense about white goods insurance came up again. Looks like they're running out of ideas.

Got a ring from someone called Olivia claiming to be from Appliance Protect. After a quick search, seemed like just another scammer. Lucky for me, my other half was on it, hitting her with some tough questions and pretending not to know anything. Didn’t get far with her, so guess it was pointless for them.

Got a call from someone claiming to offer appliance insurance and they knew a bit about my stuff, probably from some dodgy database or scam like. They were trying to get me to confirm my bank info, obviously. Told them to jog on! Had a few calls like that from scammers over the last couple of months.

Got a call supposedly about insurance for my washing machine if it breaks down. They then started asking about my fridge, freezer, and cooker - what brands they were and how old. They already had my full address and said they’d send a new certificate, but then suddenly asked for my bank details and sort code. I told them they must already have it because I pay by direct debit. Their excuse was just to verify the info they had. It felt dodgy to me, so be careful and don’t hand over your bank info - it’s definitely a scam.

I got a call from Appliance Protect, which I reckon is a bit dodgy. What made it funny was when I answered in Tagalog, their language in the Philippines - they seemed totally lost and confused. The call ended pretty sharp after that, which was quite entertaining to watch.

Someone was asking for a person I’ve never heard of, and I told them I had no clue who they meant. They quickly said sorry and promised to fix their records. Seems like it might’ve been a scam, judging by what others have mentioned.

Got a call from some Indian scammers claiming to be from Appliance Protect. They said they could bundle all my appliances into one cheaper policy, but then they suddenly ended the call. I was actually having a laugh asking them stuff they clearly didn’t know. Not very impressive!

This woman sounded so fake and overly nice, like she was way too familiar for someone I don't know, which made me think straight away that it must be some sort of scam. I shot back saying she was actually chatting with AI, and asked if she was AI too. Just like that, she cut the call off real quick.

I got a call from 02035141523 claiming to be Appliance Protect, trying to pitch a better insurance deal for my appliances. They also wanted to update their customer service number, saying the one I had was out of date. Since my appliances are covered by D&G, I was pretty sure this was dodgy. When they asked for the brand of my washing machine, I told them they should already have that info if I was really with them, and then I just hung up.

Got a ring from this number earlier. Played along for a bit, maybe 20 seconds tops, then called it out as a scam. The bloke denied it, so I hit him with the Christine Keeler bit: "Of course you'd say that, wouldn't you?" Next thing, he's gone.

This call somehow slipped past my blocker, showing as a caller ID. The woman wanted to know the brand of my washing machine, which isn’t insured at the moment, so I gave it to her. Then, when she asked about my fridge freezer’s brand, I told her she ought to already have that info. She stuttered a little after that. I said I wasn’t happy with the call, thanked her, and ended it. Pretty sure it was a scam from some call centre in India. Also, my insurer always sends letters through the post, so watch out!

Total scam alert. These lot keep ringing me up about my “Kitchen Appliances Cover” or something like that. Said they’re dropping the fees now, but I don’t even have that sort of cover! Just feels like they’re fishing for my banking info. They call me like two or three times every week. Pure rubbish, don’t trust a word.

I got a call on my landline from this number, and they kept asking for my Nan, who passed away over a decade ago. It’s so weird how they had her name!
