This bloke called me pretending to be from some lottery fund, trying to blag my bank details. I told him, chill mate, but first I gotta see a doctor 'cause I defo haven’t bought any lottery tickets. When I started chuckling, he got all annoyed and just slammed the phone down. Proper funny though! 😂

Got a call from 02074208966, some automated voice saying it was HMRC and to press 1 or I'd get arrested. Honestly, if I was in trouble with them or owed taxes, I'd have got a proper letter or even a visit from the cops, not just some dodgy voicemails. I ain't got the cash to be doing dodgy stuff anyway. Plus, they usually just slap a fine on you and that's that, no need for all this threatening nonsense.

I’ve had a few calls from this number over the past week. Didn’t manage to pick up any of them and they never left a voicemail. When I finally answered, it definitely sounded like a call centre with loads of voices speaking some foreign language in the background. Luckily, my phone has a call blocking feature, so I’ve added the number to the block list. Seems like a smart move since plenty of others have reported issues with this number too. From what I gather, 0203 London numbers can sometimes be linked to scam calls.

I received a call from a woman with a thick Indian accent, poorly articulating that she was from SKY, claiming my router had some faults. To summarise, they’ll showcase errors on your device before attempting to gain remote access. Next, they’ll ask for payment to 'resolve' the issues they've fabricated. It’s a complete scam!

They’ll also mention various things, like the expiration of washing machine warranties and other insurance matters, as part of their ruse.

If this number pops up on your screen, just hang up! Leave your own experiences here so others know to avoid this nonsense. The more awareness we create, the fewer victims there will be!

I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Sky. He said there were problems with my router that could leave my gadgets vulnerable. He told me to grab my laptop and take my time. While he was waiting, I went off to brush my teeth. When I came back, he was still on the line. The moment he asked me to find the control key and say what was beside it, I got suspicious. I asked if he knew who he was talking to, and as soon as I said that, he freaked out and abruptly ended the call.

I received a call from a chap with a noticeable Indian accent claiming to be from Sky. I'm frequently receiving calls from this number, but the line goes dead before anyone bothers to say anything. Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from Sky, telling me my router had issues (mind, I'm actually with Virgin). This morning, at around 11.35, I got a call from a fella with an Indian accent. He was asking for my missus, so I asked what it was about. Turns out, he was trying to tell me our washing machine's warranty had run out and offered to renew it. I asked him what brand we had. He said it was a Hotpoint. That's when I lost my patience and told him to get lost in no uncertain terms and to mind his own business. Funny enough, we actually bought a new B######g washing machine last January with a three-year warranty. What a load of rubbish!

Calls me almost daily but never picks up when I try to answer. I just end up blocking the number.

Got a voicemail sayin something about an "Amazon gift card" for £699, and of course, the typical "press one if this isn't you" kinda thing. Pretty sure it's a scam.

This number 02035141349 keeps buzzing me but I never pick up. Its so frustrating! I dont get why people post on here when it feels like nothing ever changes. These callers need to be stopped and reported properly. Theyre just wasting everyone’s time, seriously annoying. Somebody should do something, get rid of these idiots for good!

This number 02035141349 keeps calling me saying my washing machine insurance expired, which is odd because I don’t even own a washing machine! The caller also seemed to know my name, which is quite unsettling.

Got a call from some lady with an Indian accent, just babbling on and I never even got to hear the end of it.

Got a call from a woman who said her name was Jenny, sounded like she was from India. She claimed to be ringing on behalf of Domestic and General about my washing machine warranty running out soon. I told her these calls come in all the time and I don’t have any warranties on my appliances anyway. She just hung up after that.

Got a call from a woman called "Amanda", sounded Indian, saying she was from Domestic and General. She said my washing machine warranty had expired and asked if I wanted to renew it. I asked her which washing machine she meant. She said the Bosch one. Problem is, I don’t have a Bosch washing machine at all. Told her that and then she just cut me off! Pretty obvious scam to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Domestic and General, telling me my insurance had expired. Thankfully, I knew mine was still active. The caller sounded like they were of Indian descent.

Received a call from a bloke with an Indian accent trying to sell me an extended warranty for my washing machine once the original one ran out. Total scam, no doubt. They claimed to be from Domestic & General, which is pretty dodgy. Honestly, these scammers need to be cracked down on.

Someone rang claiming to be from Domestic and General, saying my washing machine insurance had run out. When I asked for more details, they just ended the call. I actually have my cover through John Lewis. Definitely feels like a dodgy scam to me.

Didn’t pick up the call from that number because I didn’t recognise it, and then I just blocked it. After seeing these comments, I’m really pleased I didn’t answer.

They rang me up about some washing machine insurance, but it was clearly a scam. Definitely just a ploy to sneak your bank details and rip you off. Be careful!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who was laughing and joking before she even started talking. It turned out to be a scam about my D&G warranty being expired - which isn’t true at all. What really freaked me out was that they knew my address. Suspicious stuff!

Got a call about insuring my washing machine, but wasn’t really expecting it. Felt a bit odd, like maybe a scam or something. Anyone else had these calls?

Keeps ringing non stop with people wanting to talk to someone who's been gone for years. Both men and women with Indian accents trying to get you to answer all sorts of questions. It's really annoying.

Got a call from someone called Shirley claiming to be from Domestic & General, with a strong Asian accent. She knew my full name and address and told me my washing machine’s warranty had run out. Thing is, my washing machine’s actually covered under a D & G plan, so there’s no need for any warranty renewal. I told her if she needed to get in touch, she should just email or write to me, then I ended the call. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

Seems like every scammer in the world decided to call me today... but seriously, what’s this about a washing machine?

This number has been calling me non stop, morning, afternoon, even late at night - it's really messing with my head! I work nights so the timing couldn't be worse. Had to block it after seeing all these reviews.

I didn’t pick up and it went straight to voicemail. Some Asian bloke was shouting “Hello, you there?” like he was desperate to get through. This is the fourth time they’ve rung me today, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked this one plus the other numbers they keep using.

Over the past three days, I’ve had three separate calls with nothing but silence on the other end, each one from a different number. I’m signed up with the TPS, so I shouldn’t be getting these at all. Definitely wouldn’t recommend ringing back - I reckon they might be trying to get you to pay a fortune if you do.

Got calls from a woman with a foreign accent, ringing different people trying to push a washing machine warranty. Mine's about a decade old and I've never purchased any extra cover. Pretty annoying!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent asking if I was Mrs XX. When I asked her name, she said she was ringing from Domestic and General about my washing machine cover. I told her I don’t have any policy with them and she just ended the call straight away. I’ve been getting quite a few calls like this recently - watch out for them.
