Somebody rang me saying they were from BT, saying there were fake scams on my account that needed sorting urgently. I pretended to go along with it to see what their trick was. They wanted me to download Teamviewer quicksupport on my tablet, so they could remotely access it. I just ended the call and deleted the app straight away. After that, they kept ringing me non-stop - I lost count but it was at least 15 more times - trying to persuade me to put the app back on.

I keep gettin calls every day from different 0203 numbers, always some bloke sayin he's from Microsoft. Today this guy David, sounded Asian or somethin, told me my Microsoft licence had issues and if I didn't fix it they'd block it. I just told him to do what he wants and he ended the call straight away.

Got a call from some call centre claiming to be Microsoft from Reading. Said they could see the Thames or something daft like that. They went on about a security problem with my PC and even mentioned my car, but we don’t even have one! Complete nonsense.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft. I asked them what flavour ice cream they liked, and they just hung up on me. After that, I blocked the number. Whenever I get these calls, I try to keep them chatting as long as possible and feed them a bunch of nonsense just to waste their time.

Got a call on my landline from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was David. The background sounded like a busy office. He claimed to be from Microsoft and actually knew my name, saying the call was regarding my computer. When I told him I wasn’t interested and called him out for being a scammer, he started threatening to block my computer and said I'd have to go to their offices in Reading with ID to get it unlocked. I just hung up on him after that.

Got a call from a woman speaking with an Asian accent, saying she was from Microsoft. When I questioned her, she snapped that the call was being recorded and told me to “be quiet and pay attention.” She claimed my computer was involved in uploading adult material, laundering money, and other criminal activities. She threatened to shut down my account if I didn’t follow her orders. I just sarcastically praised her “brilliant” customer service and told her to go ahead and try. Absolute rubbish scammers!

I received a rather dubious call earlier from this number, with a chap claiming to be from Amazon. He informed me that my card had allegedly been used to set up an Amazon Prime account, which supposedly carried a charge of £59.99 that would be deducted from my account right away. He insisted he could assist me in cancelling it and retrieving my funds, or else I would be at risk of losing my entire balance. To be honest, the moment he uttered ‘hello,’ something felt off, so I decided to disregard both the call and whatever he had to say.

When I picked up, some automated voice started telling me my free Amazon Prime trial was ending and I needed to talk to someone to stop payments. The whole thing felt dodgy, especially from the dodgy accent the person on the other end had and how unprofessional it sounded. Once I said I only ever use Amazon on my work computer, the person suddenly didn’t seem interested anymore and just hung up. These scammers are a proper pain, hope the cops sort them out soon because it’s getting out of hand.
