I received a call from a bloke claiming that we'd won a cheque for £4,856 due to some court proceedings involving our bank. At first, it sounded somewhat credible, but then he started talking about admin fees, which set alarm bells ringing. We decided to end the conversation right then and there. Quite relieved we did!

02035140851. This number called our nan this morning, claiming they had a £4,000 rebate waiting for her. All they asked for was a £250 fee to claim it! Honestly, it’s blatantly obvious these folks are dodgy. We told the chap on the other end that he was trying to swindle people and that there’s no Indian bloke in a pie, thank you very much! She wasn’t too pleased either; he was quite rude when she asked if he could kindly leave her alone. He mentioned he’d call back on Tuesday, and I’m thinking we might as well let them show up at our doorstep. We could put on a little act and then give them a taste of their own medicine! Absolutely unbelievable, honestly!
