This number has been driving me mad, calling me several times a day, sometimes up to five times! I found that the BT8500 'Advanced Call Blocker' phone, which I picked up second-hand from Amazon, was the only thing that actually helped. Signing up with the TPS didn’t seem to stop them at all. This phone lets you block calls or divert them straight to your voicemail, along with a few other handy features. From what I’ve seen, it’s the only phone that handles this kind of nuisance so well. Check out the reviews if you want proof. It’s done the trick perfectly for me. 😊

This afternoon at around 1:19pm, an impolite man with an Asian accent rang me up. He refused to explain the reason for his call, just claiming it was his job. This number has called me loads of times. Sometimes they just cut off as soon as I pick up, other times it’s someone with a thick accent, like Indian or something, and their English is really hard to understand. When I ask how they got my number, since we’re unlisted, they either hang up or say it came from a survey we supposedly did (which is rubbish because we only share our number with family). So, I just hang up. But they keep ringing back anyway :-/ There seriously needs to be a way to block these calls for good - we pay enough for our phone service, they should be doing something about it and shutting these numbers down!
