I received a call from this number around 7 in the evening, but I wasn't able to answer it.

Some time ago, my car was hit while it was parked and I wasn’t anywhere near it at the time, so luckily I didn’t get hurt at all. But ever since, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from insurance firms trying to get me to claim compensation for injuries I never had. It’s so annoying! It really winds me up to think that people somehow have all my personal info - like who I am, what’s gone on in my life, my phone numbers and all that. Proper frustrating!

Got a call off this number when I wasn’t in, my daughter answered. Later on, I rang back. The bloke said he was from some company called something like "Moto.. Insurance" but I couldn’t make out the name properly. I said I’d never heard of them and asked for some details, then he just hung up on me!

I’ve had a very similar thing happen to me. This bloke rang up saying he worked for some group that deals with all the big insurance firms, and their job is to ‘settle accidents’. What’s scary is how much personal info he had on me and an accident I’d been in - stuff that surely only my insurer and the police should know. Proper unsettling stuff. I’ve gone ahead and reported the number to both the TPS and ICO.

Got a call from someone saying they were from a "Motor Insurance company". They mentioned some really personal info about me and my vehicle which freaked me out. I quickly ended the call. Not sure how they got hold of my details. I’ve already reported the number 02035112149. Thought I’d share this so others can be careful too.
