A couple of years ago, my stationary vehicle was rammed by another driver. I wasn’t in the vicinity at the time, so fortunately, I didn’t suffer any injuries. Yet, I’m being bombarded with calls from insurance firms insisting that I’m entitled to compensation for supposed injuries. It’s so exasperating! It’s quite maddening to consider that these individuals have managed to get hold of my personal information... they know who I am, what events have transpired in my life, my contact numbers, and so forth. It’s really infuriating!

Received a call from this number earlier. My daughter answered since I was out at the time. Later, they tried ringing again. The bloke on the other end said he was from some insurance company, but I could hardly catch the name - something like “Moto Insurance.” When I asked him to clarify what the company was about, he just hung up! Very dodgy indeed.

I’ve encountered a remarkably similar situation. This individual reached out, stating they were affiliated with a body representing top insurance firms, and their purpose was to assist in 'finalising accident claims'. They appeared to possess a concerning amount of personal details about me and a previous incident-details that could likely only be accessed by my insurer and the police. It’s quite unsettling, to say the least. I've taken the step of reporting the number to the Telephone Preference Service and Information Commissioner's Office.

Received a call purporting to be from a "Motor Insurance company." They had some rather personal info about me and my vehicle, which was a bit concerning. They hung up rather abruptly.
